Artichalk - MOBILE APP FOR NUTRITIONAL PLANNING AND CONTROL

The Mediterranean diet, planning, healthy meals at work

Do we know the nutritional value of our daily meals?

Artichalk provides an online service that people can use to plan their diet and to order a healthy meal even when they’re at work.

The concept of the Artichalk appis for users to be able to easily customize their daily and weekly diet plans. Personal meals are matched with actual activity levels to get the right balance of calorie intake and nutrition. Artichalk rounds off its services by offering balanced meals that can be delivered straight to your workstation! The offer is based on the nutritional principles of the Mediterranean diet: low intake of animal proteins and fats, seasonal produce and level of activity – taken all together.

“Free” users have access to an algorithm that measures their nutritional needs on the basis of their level of activity and user profile, and meals are suggested for a balanced diet. “Premium” users have the advantage of more customized plans; they can also use the platform to interact directly with the team of nutritionists and access community events and activities.

Artichalk uses simple, immediate indices to provide visual statistics and analytics (Nutrition Activity Score). The platform is also linked to currently popular activity measuring devices (FitBit, Jawbone, Withings).
