Nicole Sylvia Bouris (21), Gabriele Bonaiuto (24), Andrea Marino (22).
Praesto is the brainchild of three students – Nicole, Gabriele and Andrea – who had to rush through their lunch to get to their 12:30 class on time at 12:30, and fell short of what has become a daily challenge for so many of us: turning their short lunch break into a time to relax and be ready and punctual for the next meeting or class.
Praesto is the result of that experience. Praesto is a platform that can be used by its hungry users via webpage and mobile App to order their lunch ahead, conveniently arrive just as it is served and leave when they like because they’ve already paid by credit card. Praesto aims to change the concept of “Fast” when it’s associated with “Food”, to be a tool that assures everyone a healthy, rapid lunch with no dead waiting time.
And although the three business students arrived late for their class that day, they decided to start up an ambitious business hungering for success. Let’s find out more about them: Nicole Sylvia Bouris, 21 is a business student with a very distinctive background: Italian, American and Lebanese, involved in community management for ages and someone who is well aware of what it means to satisfy demanding users.
Gabriele Buonaiuto 24, has an International Management degree and after working in different places in Shanghai and Berlin in the food sector, brings his distinctive strategic skills to the team.
Andrea Marino, 22, worked as global business developer in Stockholm and restaurant store manager in Los Angeles and decided to join the team and contribute his knowhow of the food industry and the dynamics of rapid global growth so typical of modern start-ups.
The business team couldn’t launch themselves into such a highly digital business on their own, so they turned to the support of a highly valuable team of developers with a unique set of technical skills. This team is composed of: Giulio Mazzeo, 24 , final year Master of IT Science student who brings in his web development skills together with “machine learning” skills, making him a unique member of the team. Francesco Esposito and Alfonso Cimasa, both 25 will be contributing their many skills and language knowhow to give the market a platform with added value.
With that, we hope to get to know you very soon on our app, or to say it our way…A Praesto!
