Ulife, founded by Anna Riva (32, Project Manager), Federico Magnone (41, IT Engineer) and Luigi Bandera (58, Sales Manager) was established by the desire to combine “Universal Design” – mainstream European concept for accessibility – and “Life” for lifestyle. It intends to map all the tourist itineraries based on the criteria of access for people with reduced mobility, plus dietary, sensorial and psychological criteria. Museums, restaurants, churches, hospitality facilities, guides, transport etc. that meet this criteria will be enhanced.

The information will be uploaded to a unique information database for the use of travel agencies that will need to meet specific needs. As the database grows, ULife could end up selling “certified” package tours, providing expert advice for those facilities and organizations interested in making themselves accessible or in improving their level of accessibility.

Starting from agencies we already have arrangements with – like CTS and ETSI – we will expand into every province and region in Italy, and across national borders too.

We have already set up a privileged channel with some non-profit associations that will facilitate the distribution channels and promotion of these packages: Anteas (association for the third age), Ledha (disabilities) and CTS (young, responsible tourism).
