The aromatic blends developed to craft these innovative drinks skillfully bring up the flavor and fragrances experienced when we sip on a fine Spumante, or the purest Vodka or the most sophisticated Dry Gin. They are brought out by the use of an innovative molecule – HS-replacer® – that simulates the sensation of warmth, headiness and long-lasting aroma that until now were only achieved through alcoholic fermentation.

Many of these individuals complain that there are no appealing alternatives to the current options that range from alcohol-free beer to flavored water, soft drinks (from energy drinks to ready-to-drink), fruit juice, syrups, flavored teas, and a few wines that have been through a process to remove the alcohol – which by definition contain some alcoholic residue.
The positioning strategy of Diferente® is to stand out from the current panorama where taste, price and image are all standardized, to offer premium, high-end products. The ensuing image has very little to do with the stereotype of spumante or popular spirits, beloved by those who are more interested in the alcoholic content than the actual sensations released by attentive tasting.
This project targets those users of various religions and cultures who share their desire for fine food and quality drinks, who are attentive to fashions and to health. The project brings together Filippo Zanin’s experience in the food and wine production chain, Francesco Elia’s know-how in industrial property protection and Manuela Zanin’s international marketing experience, respectively partners and director of Nano s.r.l., the enterprise behind the project.
For the first time, non-drinkers can assuage their ‘social thirst’ – in this case without being excluded from the rituals of conviviality – thanks to a product with a highly distinctive personality and great image and completely alcohol-free, to boot.
